No decision yet on alliance with Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, says Manohar Parrikar
PANAJI: Amidst the growing demand by BJP workers to end the alliance with Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) in Goa, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Manohar Parrikar said here today that the party would hear everybody before taking decision.

"When there are thousands of members, they are bound to have different viewpoints. There are 21 MLAs and many more office-bearers. After hearing everyone we will take the call," he said, talking to reporters.

Local BJP cadres, at a meeting yesterday, told the leadership that they wanted to severe the ties with MGP, because its leader and PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar was giving step-motherly treatment to BJP MLAs.

"As of now there is no decision. We have fought the zilla panchayat elections together," said Parrikar, the former Goa Chief Minister.

BJP, under Parrikar's leadership, had fought the 2012 state assembly polls in alliance with MGP.
