No decision on Narendra Modi's successor in Gujarat yet, says Bhikhu Dalsania

VADODARA: The BJP leadership would choose the successor of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, if he becomes the Prime Minister, only after the formation of the new government at the Centre, a senior leader said here today.

"There is media speculation on the issue...but no decision has been taken," Bhikhu Dalsania, an RSS pracharak and organisational secretary of Gujarat BJP, said.

When asked whether he himself was willing to take up the charge if the BJP leadership asked him to, Dalsania said, "I will accept whatever responsibility is assigned to me by my party."
