KOLKATA: Marxist veteran leader Jyoti Basu on Friday said there will be no change in the stand of Left parties on the Indo-US nuclear deal.
''The prime minister has made a move for oerationalisation the Indo-US nuclear deal but we will not budge from our stand,'' said the nonagenarian former chief minister.
Talking to reporters after the CPI(M) state secretariat meeting, Basu said: ''Nothing has been finalised as far as I know. But I have no idea what compromise they (the Centre) are trying to make. Our stand is quite clear on the issue.''
