No breakthrough in nine blast cases in three years
Investigators probing the nine bomb blasts, including two Delhi High Court blasts, have not been able to achieve any breakthrough.
Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh said all these incidents have taken place in the last three years. There were two explosions in Delhi's Mehrauli area on September 27, 2008 and March 29, 2010, while and firing and explosions took place in Jama Masjid on September 19, 2010.
These three cases are being investigated by the Delhi Police, he said in a written reply.
So far, there has been no breakthrough in the two explosions outside the Delhi High Court on May 25, 2011 and September 7, 2011, both being probed by the elite National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Blast at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy stadium on April 17, 2010, being investigated by Bangalore Police, blast in Varanasi on December 7, 2010, being probed by Uttar Pradesh ATS, July 13, 2011 serial blasts in Mumbai, being probed by NIA, and September 17, 2011 blast in Agra's Jai hospital, being probed by UP ATS, too have not been cracked.
