No 'apprehensions' among minorities about Narendra Modi: Manohar Parrikar
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said there were no apprehensions among minorities in the state about Narendra Modi becoming PM of India.

"There are no apprehensions (about Modi becoming PM)," Parrikar told reporters here, four days after senior BJP leader and Goa Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza said that minorities continue to be "apprehensive" about Modi.
There are certain people who are "trying to create the apprehensions," Parrikar claimed.
Goa has 27 per cent of Catholic population. D'Souza had told reporters on March 29 that "the apprehension (about Modi becoming Prime Minister) was always there. It is still there."
Responding to a query on whether this "apprehension" will adversely impact electoral prospects of BJP candidates, D'Souza had said, "I don't have any apprehensions. I said minorities will have apprehensions".
