Nitish orders probe after medicos create ruckus in hospital

PATNA: Taking exception to the reports about undergraduate students of Patna Medical College and Hospital roughing up a senior faculty member and created ruckus on the campus, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered a probe into it, official sources said today.

Kumar has ordered a thorough probe and registration of case in connection with yesterday's incident, sources said.

The medicos had gone on rampage following information about the 2008 batch pre-final year result in which forty out of 92 students were marked failed.

They allegedly beat up a senior faculty member and created a ruckus on the campus.
