Nitish Kumar's role greater than Lalu in the victory: Chirag Paswan

PATNA: BJP ally and LJP leader Chirag Paswan today heaped praise on Nitish Kumar and described the victory of grand alliance as people's approval for his developmental work in the state.

Paswan, whose party has suffered a humiliating defeat, said many factors would have led to the NDA's big loss and they needed to be analysed.

"Nitishji has certainly done work in his 10-year rule compared to Laluji's reign in the preceding 10 years. If people have given him support, then it means that they have approved of his developmental work.

"More than Laluji, it is Nitish Kumar's role in the win. He ran his campaign with a lot of patience," he told reporters.

His father and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan also congratulated Kumar and expressed hope that he would fulfil people's expectations.
