In the forthcoming meeting, JDU leaders from different parts of the state will approve Nitish Kumar's election as party president. It will be the first meeting where Nitish Kumar will be present only as JDU president and not as the CM of Bihar.
We will discuss the organizational expansion and future roadmap under our leader Nitish Kumar. The NDA government in the state is working on Nitish Kumar's 'Saat Nischay' programs and discussion will be held on to take the development and governance agenda further to benefit the people of Bihar," Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, JDU spokesperson, told ET.
The meeting will be important also regarding the future leadership of the party and the role of Nishant is likely to be discussed. As of now, Nishant is just a party member and state minister with no organisational responsibility.
