Kumar said he had asked the state police headquarters to provide details so that he could reply to Shinde comprehensively.

"There is no objective analysis in the letter...we do not agree with it," Kumar told reporters coming out of the 'Janata Ke Darbar me Mukhya Mantri' programme here.
He said some recent Maoists attacks in the state might be serious in terms of intensity, but that did not corroborate to the concerns raised in the letter.
Kumar said he had asked the state police headquarters to provide details so that he could reply to Shinde comprehensively.
In the letter by Shinde to Kumar last week, the Centre had rapped Bihar government for its alleged failure in controlling Maoists activities and said situation in the state had become alarming.
Besides, the Home Minister had said, there was complete breakdown in coordination between the state police and Central forces.
Shinde also advised Kumar to examine the successful counter-insurgency models of other states and adopt such structures in Bihar too.
