Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) approves Janata Parivar merger plan

PATNA: Janata parivar parties drew closer to their proposed merger after the JD(U) Legislature Party formally approved its merger with the other six parties.

RJD had endorsed the same a few days ago.

“All hurdles in the way of a merger have been sorted out, Mulayamji will soon announce the formation of the merged party,” Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told party legislators.
