Nitin Gadkari, Suresh Prabhu violated code of conduct: Congress
NEW DELHI: The Congress party has accused Union ministers Nitin Gadkari and Suresh Prabhu of conflict of interests and violations of the ministerial code of conduct for being members of the national executive committee of a company owned by Gadkari’s private secretary.

The party said the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE), partly owned by Gadkari’s private secretary Vaibhav Dange, organises conclaves and programmes with public sector units and ministries under Gadkari’s control and receives financial contributions.

The Congress also alleged that the IFGE office at Rohit House on Tolstoy Marg in New Delhi belongs to Ravi Boratkar, another member of the company’s national executive committee and a director of Purti Power & Sugar Ltd., which is owned by Gadkari’s family.
