NITI Ayog comes up with a pocket guide to digitisation for ministries

At the forefront of the government’s digitisation campaign, the Niti Aayog has just done its round of presentations across ministries on how to go cashless.

It is now stopping there though. It is now coming up with a ‘pocket guide’ on digitisation that will be circulated across government departments very soon.

Story behind the push
While cameras captured UP CM Akhilesh Yadav pushing aside don and now SP candidate from Kanpur Atiq Ahmad at a public function a few months ago, Ahmad claims it was an act in good spirit as the CM wanted to avoid Ahmad’s whisper into his ear to be captured on the microphone.

Ahmad was apparently telling CM that those taking `5 lakh cheques from him at the function were all BSP supporters.

Ally help for BJP yatras
BJP has roped in Anupriya Patel, the lone non-BJP minister from alliance partner Apna Dal, for its Parivartan Yatras. Patel has generously rescheduled her programmes to meet the Yatra requests to woo non-Yadavs in UP.

She has used the washout of Winter Session to participate in Yatras in over a dozen districts. Little did BJP know that Patel on her own had toured about 40 districts since Monsoon Session.
