Bachchan said three years have passed since the heinous crime against Nirbhaya took place and yet the guilty have not been punished. MoS for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi tried to placate the agitating members by insisting that government has acted by lodging FIRs and taking the matter to court.
Not satisfied, women members trooped into the Well of the House and forced a 15-minute adjournment of the House.
