NIA to probe Nagrota terror attack
On November 29, the group of terrorists, disguised in police uniforms, scaled the boundary wall of the camp. They ran into the Officers Mess.

The NIA on Wednesday said that on the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs ( MHA) it has re-registered the case in relation to the incident. It has taken over the investigation from the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
The NIA will be probing certain details such as whether the terrorists infiltrated into India before the attack was committed. If they did, then how did they manage to do it and what was their route to reach near the Army camp before the attack.
Officials, privy to the attack, said traces of the terrorists were found at a forested hillock, located about 800 metres on the rear side of the camp.
“A shawl and certain items such as bananas were found at that area. They spent the night there before the attack,” said officials.
Then at about 5 am on November 29, the group of terrorists, disguised in police uniforms, scaled the boundary wall of the camp. They barged into the Officers Mess complex by throwing grenades and firing at the sentries. An officer and three jawans were martyred.
