NIA team inspects site of Tinsukia blast

GUWAHATI: A team from National Investigating Agency (NIA) inspected the site of explosion in Tinsukia town. IED explosion on Thursday has injured 11 persons.

Police suspect hand of anti-talk ULFA militants behind the incident. “we suspect that anti talk ulfa’s attack in the Tinsukia town was in retaliation of encounter of its hard-core cadre on Wednesday,” a senior police official said.

A senior official in NIA said, “Officials from New Delhi and Guwahati office of NIA has started preliminary investigation of the explosion.”
