NGOs demand cancellation IPL Cricket match in Jaipur

Condemning any form of celebration at a time when the city was still mourning death of nearly 65 people who lost their lives in the serial blasts.

JAIPUR: Condemning any form of celebration at a time when the city was still mourning death of nearly 65 people who lost their lives in the serial blasts on Tuesday, two NGOs today demanded that the BJP Government should cancel the IPL Cricket match to be held here tomorow.

Nagrik Morcha's and Rajput Karni Sena have said they will stage protests against the match if it is not cancelled.
"It would be a slap on the face of people who have lost their relatives, if the match is played and cheergirls perform semi-nude dances on the heart of Pink city," Convener of the Nagrik Morcha Pandit Suresh Mishra said, adding that they would hold protests.

"We will by our best to oppose it, but will not disclose our strategy to be adopted tomorrow," Rajput Karni Sena Chief Lokendra Singh Kalvi said.
