New year drugs crackdown: NCB arrests four students in Delhi

The NCB seized 1.14 kg of charas (cannabis) and three LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) blot papers that was supposedly to be supplied to the New Year party circuit of students.

NEW DELHI: In a major crackdown before New Year, the Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested four students of Delhi University, JNU and Amity University for their alleged involvement in a narcotics supply racket.

The NCB seized 1.14 kg of charas (cannabis) and three LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) blot papers that was supposedly to be supplied to the New Year party circuit of students in and around DU’s North Campus. The students have been arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
