A high-level law and order review meeting, chaired by CM Yumnam Khemchand Singh discussed stringent measures to be taken to maintain peace and normalcy in trouble-torn Manipur
Guwahati: With the increasing violence in Manipur, Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh held a security review meeting on Thursday during which new vulnerable areas were identified and steps to deploy security personnel in those areas were discussed at length.

The Security Coordination Meeting held at the Cabinet Hall of the chief minister's secretariat in Imphal, and chaired by Singh, reviewed the law and order situation.

With the working season approaching, authorities of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and contractors are gearing up to intensify their work in the next six months.
