Short duration courses on time-bound public service delivery, self-defence for women etc. would be taken up for the officials by DTUTCS.

New training courses for Delhi Government officials to be introduced
NEW DELHI: New training courses are being introduced for Delhi government officials to increase their efficiency and responsiveness.

Short duration courses on time-bound public service delivery, self-defence for women, ethics and values in public governance, protecting environment, preparation of disaster management plan would be taken up for the officials by the Directorate of Training Union Territory Civil Services, a statement issued by the government said today.

Apart from organising these courses, the Directorate has also taken up Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) sponsored Trainer Development Programmes. The Directorate has also initiated special lecture series for probationers of Delhi, Andaman Nicobar Island Civil Services ( DANICS) and IAS. It organised 298 training programmes on various subjects in 2013-14 attended by 7,411 participants, the statement said.
