New Telananga Ministers allocated portfolios

HYDERABAD: Telananga Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today allocated the Industries portfolio to Jupally Krishna Rao, hours after expanding his Cabinet and inducting half a dozen new members.

Roads and Buildings and Woman and Child Development charge have been given to Tummala Nageswara Rao.

A Indra Karan Reddy is the new Minister for Housing, Law and Endowments, while T Srinivas Yadav has got Commercial Taxes and Cinematography.

C Laxma Reddy and A Chandulal have got Energy and ST Development respectively.

Some existing Ministers were given additional portfolios. Accordingly, Excise Minister T Padma Rao has got Sports and Youth Services, while Forest Minister Jogu Rammana will also look after Backward Class Welfare.

Post-expansion, the strength of over 6-month-old Rao-led Cabinet has gone up to 18.
