New judicial complex to come up in Gurgaon
GURGAON: Gurgaon will soon have an ultra modern judicial complex along with an alternative dispute resolution centre.

Comprising 55 court rooms with all modern facilities, the judicial complex, named ' Tower of Justice', will be a multi- storeyed building to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 113 crore.

It would provide an amicable atmosphere for settlement of disputes through alternative means like mediation and Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services), District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Shekher Dhawan here told reporters today.

The judicial complex will have all facilities not only for Judicial Officers but also for lawyers, litigants and even for undertrial prisoners, he said.

The foundations of both the buildings will be laid by Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on February 22 near existing Judicial Complex here, he said.

Presently, more than 40 courts are functioning in Gurgaon.
