New I & B Secretary Sushma Singh assumes office

Newly appointed secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Sushma Singh assumed office on Friday.

NEW DELHI: Newly appointed secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Sushma Singh assumed office on Friday.

Singh is a 1972 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre. She was secretary in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj before taking up this assignment.

Earlier she served as secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern region, and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources.
