Netaji kin writes to PM on ‘difficulties’ faced in Bengal BJP
We need to have at least 15% of the Bengali speaking Hindu voters and at least 10% of the minority voters.

In the letter, Bose has claimed it is becoming ‘increasingly difficult’ for him to work in the state unit. Bose, one of the 11 VPs in the state, has written six letters in last one month to BJP chief Amit Shah alleging that the central leaders are being fed with false data on booth committees, panchayats and district set-up. Chandra Bose wrote, “Since I joined the party on January 25, 2016, I have never been empowered to tour the districts...I am with the party only because of Narendra Modi ji and Amit Shah ji…I wasn’t informed for Amit Ji’s programme in June, neither was I invited to Paschim Medinipur on July 16 for Modiji’s Sabha nor did the organisation invite me at Mayo Road on August 11 for Yuva Swabhiman Samavesh addressed by Amit Shah ji. It is becoming increasingly difficult for me to work for BJP Bengal...” Bose stated in the letter that he has been “isolated from the mainstream and his efforts were sabotaged” .
The letters also speak how the party failed in appealing to ‘Bengali Hindu electorate’. Bose told ET that BJP’s Bengal unit is yet to succeed in appealing to the ‘Hindu Bengali voters’ that constitutes at least ‘45% of the electorate”. “Our concentration is only on the Hindi speaking Hindu voters who are solidly behind us. We need to have at least 15% of the Bengali speaking Hindu voters and at least 10% of the minority voters.”
