Nepal earthquake: Haryana government sets up Control Room

The Control Rooms set up on the directions of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, will help people of the state know about the well being of their kin.

Nepal earthquake: Haryana government sets up Control Room
CHANDIGARH: Haryana Government has set up Control Rooms and designated nodal officers to coordinate and monitor the aftermath of devastating Nepal earthquake.

The Control Rooms set up on the directions of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, will help people of the state know about the well being of their kin.

It would also coordinate with people who wish to provide relief material and assistance, an official release said here.

The Control Room set up at state headquarters, Chandigarh, can be contacted at 0172-2711758, which is monitored by Additional Chief Secretary, Health.

The Control Room at Haryana Bhawan, Delhi, can be reached at 011-23384354 and 9818672439 and would be monitored by its nodal officer, Resident Commissioner, Haryana.

Control Room has also been set up in all districts at Deputy Commissioner's offices whose Nodal Officer is concerned City Magistrates.
