NDFB backed BJP during Lok Sabha Polls, says Assam CM Tarun Gogoi

GUWAHATI: Assam CM Tarun Gogoi is miffed with Intelligence Bureau (IB) for allegedly leaking the report that it had sent alerts to Assam regarding Songbijit faction of National Democratic Front of Boroland's (NDFB) radio message: “kill as many nonBodos as possible“in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur, last Tuesday . Gogoi alleged that anti-talk NDFB had supported BJP during the Lok Sabha polls. Gogoi said that Centre cannot dictate terms to him and containing insurgency is the responsibility of Centre. The Assam government has decided to order judicial inquiry into the Adivasi massacre.

The state intelligence agency got infor mation about the NDFB's moves at around 12pm on December 23, he said.
