New Delhi: After a purported video clip of BJP MLA Shobha Chouhan in Rajasthan promising people of her constituency she would ensure child marriages are not disrupted if she is voted to power became viral, National Commission for Protection Child Rights has decided to look into the matter.

“We’ve ‘satta’ and ‘sangathan’ at our disposal. We won't let police intervene in child marriages," Chouhan, contesting from Sojat assembly seat, is seen as purportedly saying in the video.
