NBA furious over Arvind Kejriwal's 'paid media' comment
NEW DELHI: Television news broadcasters have asked Arvind Kejriwal to refrain from making 'unverified allegations' against the electronic media including claims that news channels are being "paid" by political parties for coverage.

The News Broadcasters Association ( NBA), a private body representing the private television news and current affairs broadcasters, has pointed out that the statements by Kejriwal and his associates were "shocking, unverified and objectionable".

"The electronic media is independent and is discharging its responsibilities in a fair and transparent manner and urges the AAP not to hurl unsubstantiated and unverified charges on the electronic media," NBA said in a statement.
