Naxalites, Marxists team up for Nabanna March to take up farmers' issue
CPI ML (Liberation) leader Partha Ghosh said his party had full moral support for the Nabanna gherao.

The Naxalite factions -CPI ML (Liberation) and Communist Revolutionary League of India (CRLI) -on Friday gave their consent to the CPM and 14 other Left parties to support them in making the Na banna march a success. “We will not only give moral support to the Left parties to gherao Nabanna, but also take part in their movement on August 10 ,“ CRLI leader Asim Chatterjee, who's known as Kaka, told ET on Friday.
CPI ML (Liberation) leader Partha Ghosh said his party had full moral support for the Nabanna gherao. “But we will be busy with our state party conference which will take place at Burdwan between September 10 and 12 and therefore, our front-ranking leaders may not be able to attend the Nabanna movement. Moreover, we will also be busy holding the meeting of the All India Peoples Forum on August 20 in Kolkata,“ he said.
Seventeen Left parties, including the larger Naxalite factions, will also attend a two-day sit-in here from August 17. The Left parties have decided to hold the demonstration to draw attention of the people towards the September 2 nation-wide general strike called by the central trade unions.
