Navjot Singh Sidhu’s adviser Malwinder Singh Mali quits, says can’t continue in given circumstances

Malwinder Singh Mali has resigned from the post of advisor to Navjot Singh Sidhu.

The resignation came hours after AICC Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat asked the Punjab Congress chief to remove his two controversial advisors.

“I withdraw my consent given for tendering suggestions to Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu,” Malwinder Singh Mali said.




In a major setback to Sidhu and his camp, the Congress high command on Friday asked Sidhu to remove two of his four advisors, including Malwinder Singh Mali and Pyare Lal Garg.

Mali and Garg had come under fire for their continued attacks on CM Amarinder Singh and his aides over the past weeks.
