Navin Chandra Bajpai appointed Chairman of UP State Planning Commission
Uttar Pradesh government has appointed retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary Navin Chandra Bajpai as the Chairman of the State Planning commission.

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh government has appointed retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary Navin Chandra Bajpai as the Chairman of the State Planning commission, official sources said here today.
Bajpai, considered close to SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav had earlier served as Chief Secretary in his earlier regime.
He was removed from the post by the Election Commission during 2007 Assembly polls.
