Naved nails Pakistan's role as terror sponsor in statement before magistrate

In his statement, which is admissible in court as evidence, Mohd Naved gives details of his birth, addresses, contact details, work, his meetings with LeT commanders and training at three different camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
These have been factored into a detailed dossier on Naved prepared by National Investigation Agency, which has pin-pointed the locations he revealed through the GoogleEarth and GoogleMaps apps. Government sources said India will expose Pakistan's activities on international platforms with the help of this evidence.
TOI accessed Naved's statement, recorded in Urdu last week, wherein he admits to his role in attacking a BSF convoy in Udhampur, on the directions of Lashkar commanders based across the border. He has also named several of his handlers — identifying one Maulvi Bashir as his spotter — and LeT recruits from different regions of Pakistan who trained with him in three different types of modules in 2011, 2014 and 2015.
Naved has confessed that he was "trained from 3.30am till 10 pm every day, which included several lectures on jihad, sports activities, namaaz and arms training". "Naved and his colleagues in the Lashkar training camps were shown videos of atrocities on Muslims in Palestine and Kashmir," an officer said.
A senior officer said Naved has been cooperating in the investigation, and given correct details which have been verified through independent sources and intelligence agencies. His lie-detector test did not reveal any discrepancies either.
