National Waqf Development Corporation CEO Ashok Pai repatriated prematurely

NEW DELHI: Ashok Pai, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Waqf Development Corporation Ltd, was today sent to his cadre state of Uttarakhand before completion of his central deputation tenure.

Pai is a 1983-batch officer of the Indian Forest Service.

An order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said the premature repatriation of Pai has been approved so that he could avail of benefit of his promotion.


The corporation, which was formed on the recommendations of the Sachar Committee, is professionally managed apex institution working for the development of Waqf properties across India for socio-economic and educational empowerment of Muslims in the country.
