National Socialist Council of Nagaland-K threatens action against ban
Khaplang faction along with other outfits ambushed and killed 18 jawans on June 4.

The Khaplang faction in a statement to media houses stated, “Judging from the panic stricken desperate exercise-running from pillar to post to condemn and to outlaw Naga's legitimate struggle, it is for India to be equally concerned for the fate of her own citizens sustaining and well prospering in lives and spread in thousands over Naga inhabited country .“

The outfit added, “Should ban on NSCN-K takes effect, same measures shall be counter-activated and India's illegal military and political oppression of the Nagas shall be presented in every appropriate International forum. The Nagas shall no longer remain naive and mute but aggressively pursue her God endowed right with every conceivable avenue at our disposal including international campaigns.“
Centre has decided to reimpose the ban on SS Khaplang led NSCN-K.
