National highway is my way: Lalu

Mr Yadav forced an unscheduled landing on National Highway 28, at a stretch near Muzzarpur to have a “closer inspection” of the affected people, much to the delight of TV channel crews which beamed the minister’s antics ‘live’ on air. The minister’s argument is that he wanted a direct feedback from the marooned victims about their plight.
However, this is an act of bravado has now been dragged to the court. A local lawyer of Muzzarpur, Sudhir Ojha who is also an activist of the Ramvilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party, filed a complaint in the court of chief judicial magistrate Sanjay Kumar stating that he was injured in the melee caused due to the landing of the chopper in the middle of the road.
Mr Ojha contended that the chopper landed without prior permission of the district authorities, in the process endangering peoples’ life. Taking cognisance of the complaint, the CJM has directed the Muzzarpur SP to submit a report in this connection after probing the matter within one week.
The IAF helicopter was also carrying Union rural development minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and another RJD leader Shyam Razak. The case has been filed under various sections of the IPC including 308 (attempted culpable homicide), 279 (rash driving or riding on public highways), 431, 141 and 283.
