Narendra Modi's win will give power to industrialists: Buddhadeb
BARASAT: Describing BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as "dangerous", former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today said the power would go in the hands of industrialists if he took charge of the top post.

"Narendra Modi is dangerous. If he becomes prime minister then the power will directly go in the hands of the owners of industries and factories," he told an election rally at Panihati in Dum Dum Lok Sabha constituency.

He said an alternative government without Congress and BJP could be formed at the Centre.

"The government of an alternative front without Congress and BJP could be formed at the Centre. Because, the total number of votes garnered by the opposition parties is always more than the combined votes of Congress and BJP," he said.

The alternative front government could be formed once the opposition votes were combined, he said, urging people to vote for Left Front candidate Asim Dasgupta.

According to him, the number of unemployed people in the country has gone up in the last ten years and the poor people have become poorer during this period.
