'Narendra Modi's visit to Patna blast victims politically motivated'
JAMMU: The All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference (AJKPC) today took a jibe at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over his visit to the families of victims of Patna serial blasts, saying it was "politically motivated and selective".

"BJP's prime ministerial candidate Modi's visit to the families of victims of Patna serial blasts is politically motivated and selective," AJKPC president Anil Sharma said in a statement here today.

Sharma said there should not be any discrimination between victims of terror -- be it Bihar or Jammu and Kashmir.

"We welcome Modi giving away relief of Rs 5 Lakh to the family members of the deceased of Patna serial blasts, but why no word of sympathy and concern for brave panches and sarpanches of Jammu and Kashmir who are fighting for the cause of democracy despite hostile conditions.
