Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi on December 25: Kalraj Mishra

VARANASI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting his Parliamentary constituency Varanasi on December 25, Union minister Kalraj Mishra said today.

The Micro Small and Medium Enterprises minister will take part in various programmes during his visit and will also carry out a cleanliness drive for nearly an hour as part of his pet project ' Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan'.

Praising Modi, Mishra said he has been recognised as an efficient and tough leader globally with the US President Barack Obama also appreciating him for his efforts to shake up the "bureaucratic inertia" in the country and describing him as a "man of action".

Modi last visited Varanasi in the first week of November.
