AHMEDABAD: Narendra Modi is all set to return as Chief Minister in Gujarat, having established an early lead over Congress' Dinsha Patel in Maninagar constituency. The BJP is set to form the government for the fourth time, courtesy its lead in more than 100 seats in the 182-seat state Assembly.
After the second round of counting, Modi has 8,762 votes while Dinsha bagged 8,411 votes.
Earlier, trends had pointed to a neck-and-neck battle with the Congress and the BJP battling it out.
