Narendra Modi to expand Gujarat ministry on Friday

AHMEDABAD: Expansion of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's council of ministers will take place on Friday and six new ministers of state will be inducted.

"Expansion of the ministry will take place on Friday, in which six new ministers of state will be inducted," Gujarat finance minister and government spokesperson Nitin Patel told PTI here today.

At present there are 16 ministers in the council of ministry of the Narendra Modi government. This is the first Cabinet expansion after the first batch of ministers were inducted in December 2012.
