Narendra Modi taking credit of UPA projects: Alleges JPCC chief Sukdhdeo Bhagat
RANCHI: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) president Sukdhdeo Bhagat today claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was taking credit by inaugurating projects that were the previous UPA government's contribution.

"During his election meeting in Ranchi on December 29, Narendra Modi had promised several things, including special package to Jharkhand, but has not said anything during his two months of reign, reflecting his empty promises," Bhagat said at a press conference here.

"But he is taking credit by inaugurating projects initiated by the previous UPA government. The power project that is scheduled to be inaugurated in Ranchi by him tomorrow was being readied during the previous regime," Bhagat said.

"It's being done to take mileage ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls in Jharkhand," he alleged.

Bhagat also alleged that the BJP had stalled Parliament on FDI matters during the UPA regime, but now they were favouring bringing FDI in the Defence sector.

"Modi spoke of welfare of tribals in Jharkhand, but BJP ( Amit Shah's team) doesn't have a tribal from Jharkhand in it," he claimed.
