Narendra Modi magic flop outside Gujarat: Subodh Kant Sahay

RANCHI: BJP should learn that the "magic" of Narendra Modi was a failure outside Gujarat after its resounding defeat in Karnataka Assembly polls, Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay said today.

"The BJP had pitted Narendra Modi against Rahul Gandhi in Karnataka. Now it should learn that Modi is confined to just Gujarat and his magic will not work in any other part of the country," the local Lok Sabha MP said here.

"The Congress' win in Karnataka is a message from the people that they have more trust and belief in Congress than BJP on good, transparent and people-friendly governance," the former Union minister said.

He said the people's message was reflected in the hattrick of wins by Congress in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka.
