Narendra Modi has failed Indian women: Congress

Responding to Law Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad's letter, Sushmita Dev of the congress retorted that the BJP had no intention on the passage of women's reservation bill and have let down the women of India.

The Congress stated that PM Narendra Modi's 2014 election manifesto, outlining the effort towards women empowerment was only a farce.

Earlier today, Ravi Shankar Prasad, responded to a letter written by Rahul Gandhi, and urged the Congress for their support in the upcoming Monsoon session for the passage of Important women-centric legislations.


Using strong words, the Congress reiterated that BJP has been indulging in a trade game with issues relating to women empowerment. "BJP has no intention of implementing laws that are progressive," stated Sushmita Dev.

Sushmita went on to say that the conditions laid down by PM Modi for the passage of women's reservation bill was impractical.
