Narendra Modi kept updating his Twitter page since morning, where he posted that he was on his way to the venue at 9.19 am. He later posted three tweets thanking national leaders and friends from other states who came to the venue to show solidarity with Sadbhavana and people of Gujarat. Twitterati posted time-by-time account of run-up to the fast by Modi. Faking News wrote, ‘Breaking News: Congress claims victory over #ModiFast using Duckworth-Lewis method.’

Many projected him as the future Prime Minister and also wished him happy birthday. The opponents mainly targeted Modi over ‘tamasha’ and waste of public money for the mega event.
