Narada News releases two new tapes of the sting operation
The second part of the sting operation on TMC leaders taking cash surfaces late in the evening today. Narada News has today released two new tapes of the sting operation.
Ponda is being seen asking for a 'stake' in every venture that would happen in the state. The student leader has been interrogated by the CBI and Enforcement directorate too for his alleged involvement in the chit fund scam. After being grilled by the central agencies repeatedly, his party removed him from all positions.
Holding a press conference, senior BJP leader Jay Prakash Majumdar yet again demanded the resignation of chief minister Mamata Banerjee. "We want an investigation into the scam. If chief minister cannot order a probe, she should resign immediately." Earlier, BJP national secretary Siddharth Nath Singh too demanded the resignation of the chief minister.
Significantly, a week has passed since the release of first tape of the sting operation that featured some MP s of the party and cabinet ministers. However, no probe has been ordered by the state government.
Interestingly, chief minister Mamata Banerjee was today holding an election rally in south Kolkata in the evening when Narada News released the new tapes. Even though, no reaction came from the ruling party today, chief minister Banerjee earlier denied all allegation calling it a pre-election conspiracy.
