Nand Kumar Patel's son appeals to Naxals to free his father, brother

RAIPUR: Umesh Patel, one of the sons of senior Congress leader Nand Kumar Patel who was abducted by Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Jagdalpur district, tonight appealed to the ultras to free his father unharmed.

"I appeal to the Naxals to release my father and brother", Umesh said.

Nand Kumar Patel, PCC chief, and his son Dinesh were abducted by Maoists following an amush on a convoy of Congress leaders in a dense forest in the district.
