Naga People's Front to Centre: Think of a political solution to Naga political problem

KOHIMA: The ruling Naga People's Front (NPF) in the state has appealed to the centre and the negotiating parties to bring about early political solution to the vexed Naga political problem.

The appeal was made by the four NPF cells, including Legal cell, Life Membership Cell, Farmers' Wing and Minority Cell as part of its joint resolution adopted in yesterday's meeting held in NPF Central office.

They urged the centre and negotiating parties to bring about early political solution to the Naga issue. The NPF appreciated the efforts made by Forum for Naga Reconciliation to bring Naga political groups into one common platform for permanent peace. The NPF cells also lauded Neiphiu Rio for being the first chief minister of Nagaland to have visited Myanmar for taking up Naga issues in that country and for building cordial relationship between India and Myanmar.
