GUWAHATI: With the Khaplang faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) headed for another split, the peace process in Nagaland looks extremely fragile. The Kaplang faction of NSCN, which has bases in Myanmar, has expelled two leaders Y. Wangtin Naga and P. Tikhak for attending the meeting of the CFSB.

"It has been established beyond doubt numerous instances of (the two leaders) hatching conspiracies with India to destabilize the cause,"the expulsion order read. Both Wangtin and Tikhak have, however, resolved to form a new party, claiming that it will work for peace and build a better societyfor the Naga people.
