NACS Ltd not a government body, says Agriculture Ministry

NEW DELHI: NACS Ltd, which has issued vacancies on its website masquerading as a PSU, is not a government entity, the Agriculture Ministry warned today.

In an advisory issued today, the ministry asked people to refrain from dealing with the organisation.

NACS Ltd is masquerading as PSU under the ministry and has issued vacancies pertaining to agriculture and allied sectors on its website 'http://nacsindia.in', it said.

"It is hereby clarified that there is no such organisation operating under Ministry of Agriculture. It is advised to refrain from this organization for any deals / commitment," said an advisory issued by Agriculture Ministry.

The ministry will bear no responsibility for any acts on behalf of this organisation, it said.

"It is also recommended that in case of any vacancy in any divisions of Agriculture Ministry, please verify from Employment News and from the Ministry's official Portal http://www.agricoop.nic.in before applying," it added.
