'NABARAD Grameena Habba' in Bengaluru from September 28
About 40 artisans from across the state will be displaying their products for sale.
The event, organizers said, will provide a platform for weavers, rural artisans, and craftsmen, rural entrepreneurs to display and sell their products. An interesting array of products from across Karnataka like the famous Mulaklmuru Sarees, Kasuti embroidery sarees, handloom bed sheets, towels, wood inlay works, wooden crafts, channapatna toys and utility items, banana fibre products, organic millets and pulses, spices and dry fruits, eco friendly areca leaf plates and cups, artificial jewellery, dairy products, gel, soaps, Az Milk, etc., will be available for sale directly from the rural artisans/farmers.
About 40 artisans from across the state will be displaying their products for sale. “This platform also helps the rural artisans to get feedback about consumer taste and preference, modify their product designs and creations according to market trends. The urban population also get the satisfaction of patronising/encouraging the artisans/producers directly,” the press release said.
