Mysuru blast similar to those in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, say police
BENGALURU: The explosion which occured at the Mysuru court complex on Monday bears similarity with the recent blasts in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, the police overseeing investigations briefed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday.

DGP ( Internal Security) Neelamani S Raju brief the CM that the investigations have revealed that there are similarities in the explositions at Mysuru early this week, at Kollam in Kerala in June, and at Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh in April last year. In all these incidents, pressure cookers have been used, and the police have found a certain degree of professionalism in planting the devices.

No organisation has so far claimed responsibility for the mysuru blast, and National Investigation Agency too is probing the incident. The Police suspect creating an atmosphere of terror could be the idea behind the blasts.
